This unit is about different types of special classes a TEFL teacher might teach. They are mainly for young learners and for people learning English for their employers. Young learners are often highly motivated. They should be have a lot of positive fun and repeat often. A teacher should only speak to them in English and treat them very fairly and nicely. Students learning English for their business position are often irregular and sometimes unmotivated students because of the constraints of their job. They should be given a needs analysis because they often have special business needs and can have varying levels of skill. This unit was no surprise to me, but the advice for teaching the different special classes was interesting. I will surely use this if I happen to teach one of them.
