While this unit does explain itself as being one of the more difficult units, following the guidelines proved to be successful in grasping the concepts. i.e future simple = will, future continuous = be, future perfect = have, future perfect continuous = have been. While it's not necessarily better than understanding the rule in general, I find it a helpful stepping stone for my own understanding, which will subsequently be beneficial when I'm on the spot in the classroom.
