Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

This unit addressed the qualities of a good teacher, such as being kind, patient, passionate about teaching, able to equally include all students, and motivate learners. These qualities and many more make a great teacher, but in addition to these, teachers must be able to take on certain roles. These roles include organizing activities, giving feedback to students, encouraging students, and providing a good example for them. And part of being a good teacher is knowing when to employ these different roles. Teachers have to be able to adapt to the students, the culture, and the level of English ability of their students. There are many different levels to language learning, which this unit also went over. Levels range from Beginner (zero to very little experience in the language) to Advanced (where students are focusing on the subtleties of the language). Students also vary in their motivation for learning a foreign language. Some learn them for job opportunities, others learn them to be able to travel and move to a different country. These are important things to consider when helping and giving feedback to individual students. This unit also talks about how important a teachers experience, feelings, and motivation are in teaching students. Life experiences definitely affect how a teacher believes they should teach, and what the most important characteristics of a teacher are. In addition, understanding cultural differences are very important when teaching a language. Different countries have different approaches to learning and proper ways of teaching. Overall, this unit was about the desired characteristics of teachers and the roles they fill, as well as the variations in the motivations, levels, and cultures of students.
