In this unit we learned a lot about reported speech and the conditions surrounding it. The smallest change in phrasing changes which condition it is completely. I feel like I have learned a lot from this unit and I am once again surprised by how many forms there are to do one thing, Which in this case is reporting speech. For example I leaned that the Third conditional and the mixed conditional and very similar in structure. They both represent a hypothetical past action but the third represents a hypothetical past consequence/result and the mixed represents a hypothetical present consequence/result.
