For Unit 1, I have learned the clear distinction between Teachers and Learners with regard to what qualities allow them to succeed in their role, their motivations, and relationship towards each other. For Teachers, it is important to know the difference between the roles they have to undertake during classes. Teachers would need to adjust depending on several situations to ensure effectivity in conducting the class. It is also important for a teacher to know who the participants are in a class to be able to determine the approach towards the lesson - This will depend mainly on a student's age and language level, in which their motivations may differ.
