This unit was on teaching productive skills. Productive skills are considered to be writing and speaking. Productive skills are the more active side of becoming fluent in a new language. There are several ways to help students improve their speaking and writing. Writing is often more difficult for students to master because it is often an independent task. The unit gave several examples of how to activate class time to help teach students writing.
