There was a lot covered in this lesson. The dynamics of each class or group of students can vary greatly. The level of English known by the students, the age of students, the size of the group, the purpose of learning and cultural backgrounds will change depending on the class. A teacher must know how to teach a particular class based on all of these contributory factors. For me, one thing stood out above all else. For maintaining discipline in groups of young learners, there are many things that can create disobedient students. The thing that I will never forget is that when a student is acting out to get attention, it is progressive to give that student the attention he or she seeks. For example, using the student as a teachers helper or giving the student a group leader role will make them feel important and useful.
