This unit covered four different present tenses; present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. It identified the form, usage, and average student errors for each present tense. Even though I am a native speaker of English, it took me awhile to be able to distinguish which present tense fit with each sentence and question, so I can see how this unit would be difficult for English learners to understand. I study each present tense usages to help identify which tense is being used in each sentence.
