This Unit points out how the past tense structure is similar to that of the present tense but the difference is that the past refers to actions in the past. The various forms of the past tense is indicated in this lesson and how to play with verbs to get the desired verb form. This unit is important because as teachers of English language we would find ourselves narrating events or tell stories to our students. Knowledge of this lesson is beneficial as we will be able to know which verb form best suit story telling, narration of events or simple communication with our students.
