In Unit 19 I learned about the various types of classes and students I am likely to teach as well as best practices for each. I found that there are several types of beginners, from absolute beginner to the beginner without Roman alphabet. Various methodologies and techniques for teaching beginning students were presented, with a lot of focus on making sure to be simple, clear, and practice a lot of self-control in how I speak, gesture, and pace the lesson. Much repetition and revision are also highly advised.
