This unit provided an introductory overview of grammar and parts of speech. Because of this lesson, I am now better able to communicate the structure of English sentences to students. Knowing the parts of speech in English and how those parts of speech are arranged will allow me to better understand the equivalents to those parts of speech in other languages and how those equivalents are arranged, which will help simplify the process of learning other langues or, more specifically, the language of the foreign country where I will be teaching.
