I learned in detail about the parts of speech. We went over nouns, verbs, adjectives, prepositions, articles, pronouns, adverbs, gerunds,
and conjunctions in detail. We learned about proper nouns, common nouns, compound nouns, abstract nouns and collective nouns. Also learned about comparative and superlative adjectives, as well as the correct order to describe a noun. Also learned about verbs, like action verbs, state verbs, and transitive and intransitive verbs. This lesson also discussed adverbs of manner, adverbs of place, adverbs of time, and adverbs of frequency. We also learned about prepositions used in time, place and movement. This lesson also discussed pronouns like personal pronouns, reflexive pronouns, relative pronouns, and possessive pronouns. This lesson also went over infinitive and gerunds as well as indefinite, definite and zero articles. The last part of the lesson discussed different conjunctions being used.
