I was able to connect most of the content of this unit so my own language classes taken throughout school. I remember my teachers promoting accuracy in worksheets and drilling activities and telling the class not to worry about speaking one hundred percent correctly during fluency activities. Fluency activities usually made me anxious as a student because I always wanted to be "doing it right" and did not want others to hear when I said something wrong. This unit has led me to think about needing to research fluency activities that will encourage participation from students such as myself.
