I learned that being a good teacher is not solely reliant on knowing and mastering the subject we teach. There are numerous other factors to consider, such as culture, age and the skill of individual students. Being a good teacher do not simply mean we know all the theories regarding the subject we teach, instead a good teacher is able to motivate, encourage, and interact with their students aside of being their source of knowledge and role model. A teacher should also understand that students can come with different levels of skill, and should adjust their teaching methods accordingly.
