The first thing that comes into my mind when I think about teaching is empathy. And this unit gave me confirmation of this. Each person has different ways of learning and each person has a different story. You can find common situations based on the country of origin, age and education, but the thing that allows a person to learn more is to feel comfortable because respected. Being able to transmit trust, knowledge, understand the situation in the group/classroom and to fully involve the student, allows to reach the goal that is the most beautiful thing of this job: give the opportunity to others to achieve their goals through the English knowledge. Basically, make them freer through knowledge.
