This unit was an interesting introduction into the dynamic relationship between a teacher and a learner, though I should note that teachers often have much to learn from those they are teaching. I feel like I have learned that much of the learners' learning responsibilities are intimately tied to the teacher's attitudes and behaviors, which places a lot of the responsibility on the teacher. This unit has taught me that patience, passion, and motivation will be necessary to establish good rapport with the learners.
