This unit has shown me different ways to carry out an ESA lesson using standard by the book course work, authentic material or created material. I feel it would be better to alternate between authentic and created material in order to achieve excellence in both teaching and results from students. While both methods carry advantages and disadvantages, I feel it would be the teacher's call and good judgement on what to use as it all depends on the classroom. Hence, this unit has given me the tools needed once the judgement call has been made.
