The videos showed two markedly different teaching styles that ultimately proved that the second class was the most productive technique in learning English. The teaching style in the first class was quite authoritative, pointing and reprimanding students, such as when they arrived late. The teacher also had no rapport with his class, evidenced by him not calling on them individually by name. The consequences of this were clearly visible, as the students were confused and not actively engaged in the class. The second teaching style called each student by name and explained the activities and lesson slowly, allowing the students to understand the teacher's expectations and participate accordingly.
