There are different pieces of equipment and aids to help the student with their language learning. The board is still very common and a good medium to visualize language items and ideas. White Boards provide new interactive possibilities, but require some training. The OHP is suitable for showing pictures and sheets, but the classroom has to be darkened. Playing CDs or films can be very motivating for the students. Video cameras can be used to give the students feedback and to conduct a class project. Students should be instructed on how to use a dictionary to effectively look up words they do not know.
