I have always been quite good at grammar. In reviewing the parts of speech, I found several designations that I do not think about often, so it was nice to be reminded. I will list those here. A countable noun is different from an uncountable noun because countable nouns can be made plural and the articles “a” and “an” may proceed them. Transitive verbs have objects. The main verb forms are base form, past simple, past participle, and present participle. A list of adjectives can be arranged by size, age, colour, material. A list of adverbs can be arranged by place, manner, time. A common mistake of non-native English speakers is to confuse possessive pronoun (mine, ours) and possessive adjective (my, ours).
