Similar to Unit 4: Present Tenses, Unit 6 went over the aspects of past tense: past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. The unit went over the form, usages, common student errors, and potential activate stage ideas for each of these aspects of past tense. The unit also started to identify common rules that governed how present, past, and future tenses become simple, continuous, perfect, and past perfect continuous, which was helpful for me (and would be helpful for my students) to distinguish between these aspects and start identifying what contexts in which they are used.
