This unit is an excellent review of the different parts of speech in English. Most of it I knew, but there were certain things such as gerunds that I had forgotten about. This unit reminded me just how challenging teaching English it going to be because there are so many exceptions to the rules. I also realized that I a lot of these rules such as the order of adjectives in a list, I was not taught. Instead these rules are something that English speakers learn from listening to the language over many years and hearing what the language is suppose to sound like. I am sure that I will run into many more of these "rules" as I continue this course and teach English.
