In this lesson we went over teaching productive skills. The two productive skills are writing and speaking. Both skills are used for the same purpose of communication. Writing often becomes neglected in teaching English because speaking and listening are seen as more important skills for language learning. Communication is a vital part of any language as is writing so it must not be skipped over. The lesson also goes over the difference between accuracy and fluency activities. Both are equally as important but hold different concentrations such as correct language versus creative language.
