In this unit I have learned how to teach the productive skills speaking and writing. Concerning speaking, we can distinguish between accuracy and fluency activities which are equally important. Speaking activities in the classroom can be controlled and guided activities as well as creative communication. What is more, I have learned about techniques to encourage students to speak and about guidelines for a free speaking activity. Concerning writing skills, I have learned about the importance of hangwriting, spelling and punctuation. In this context, a typical creative writing activity lesson has been introduced. Finally I have learned about games in the classroom.
