This unit discussed what makes both a good teacher and learner. It explored the different roles that a teacher will utilise in a classroom setting, and the applications for each. The qualities that the learners bring to the classroom were also covered. These included age, experience and motivation, cultural differences, and specific language skill levels in addition to several more. The different experiences that teachers can expect in a classroom dependent on factors like age and skill level where also highlighted, to be discussed in more detail in a later unit.
