This unit is devoted to the topic of Modals, phrasal verbs and Passive voice. There are such modal verbs as may, might, need to, must, have to, should, can, could, be able to, would, and they all have their uses in the present, past and some of them are used to express future. Passive voice is used when the speaker is ommited or not important. There are three categories of clauses: independant, dependant and relative clause. Relative clauses can be defining and non-defining. There are three basic types of phrasal verbs: intransitive,transitive separable and transitive inseparable.
