This unit contains few grammar topics: the Auxiliary Modal verbs, the Passive voice, the Relative clause and the Phrasal verbs. Modal verbs are used in conjunction with the infinitive of the semantic verb and express the possibility, necessity, probability, desirability of an action expressed by an infinitive. Passive voice is used to show interest in an object that is experiencing an action, rather than an object that performs an action. Relative clause usually connects two small sentences into one or simply adds new interesting information to make it clearer to us. Phrasal verbs are special verbs in English, which consist of a semantic verb and one or more prepositions. They need to be perceived as whole and remember the meaning of each individually, since the meaning of the phrasal verbs often differs from the meaning of the words from which they are composed.
