In Unit 5 we are taught the importance of classroom management. Not only in the terms of what we are teaching but how we should position activities, students and ourselves in the classroom. We are taught the importance of eye contace, gestures and our voice in the classroom. We learned different grouping pros and cons and different seating arrangments and styles. This unit tells us how to utilize the time we have to talk which is called TTT (teacher talk time) as oposed to STT which is student talk time. We want to initiate more student talk time so they can practice what we have taught them. It also tells us that it is crucial to build a rapport with our students and how to go about doing that.
