Creating a balanced classroom is much like a dance. A teacher must be aware of the surroundings and be able to keep control of the learning environment. This safe space should encourage all learners, while also keeping boundaries in place. The teacher must set the tone, but it's also the student's who are responsible for meeting the teacher with the same respect. Having the resources to handle situations that may need an outside voice is key, ie: principle, counselor, etc.
