This unit talked about the methods of managing a classroom and the role of the teacher and students in contributing to the learning atmosphere. It made me think about the style of activities I would plan: what would be the difference between an activity I would assign an individual verses one assigned to a pair or group and how could students benefit. I think it is important to consider the way you treat students, whether it is being conscious of your eye contact and gestures or amount of control and speaking you do in a classroom. I think its important that while learning about teaching styles and processing your own learning journey with your craft as a teacher, you focus on language and a style that is authentic for your students.
