This unit is devoted to the topic Teaching Special Groups. Teaching beginners can be motivating and rewarding, though challenging. Teachers need to use visual aids, express ideas clearly, and not correct the students too much to maintain their motivation. Teaching individual students is useful when a student is highly motivated or has some special needs that can not be satisfied in the big classroom, or if a student is quite shy and needs friendly intimate atmosphere for the class. However some activities are not suitable for individual students. Teaching children is quite challenging and requires a teacher to be entertaining and fun. Teaching business English requires clear vision of the company, and goals and needs of individual workers as well as the whole group.
