In this unit I have learned how to plan lessons and why this is important in particular for inexperienced teachers. Hence, lesson plans have the function to aid to planning, they are also working documents and a record. In this context, I have also learned how a lesson plan should be written down and why it is important to be organised. A lesson plan should thus include information about the learner objectives, personal aims, language point, teaching aids, anticipated problems, procedure, phase and timing. Furthermore, it should include class level, interaction, date, number if students and the teacher’s name.
