I learned from Lesson 3 is that there are a number of different methods, techniques, and theories used to teach a lesson in a language. Although every technique or method might not be perfect, it is best to understand all of them so that you can take parts of each of them to formulate a lesson plan that suits your needs as well as the student and the subjects needs. Another area that I learned in Lesson 3 was the Engage-Study-Activate method, which appears to be the most effective and most logical way for teachers to learn and apply in a lesson plan. One of the most underrated learnings from this lesson was on correcting of students. I felt it be be very valuable that the lesson identified the differences between an error and a mistake. I also thought it to be of great importance to understand when to correct a student and when to not correct a student, as well as ask the rest of the class to help. Its important for the student condifence and motivation to understand this correction theme, as well as the balance between praise and correcting of your students.
