Unit 8 introduces the different future tenses of the English Language.
They are: Future Simple, Going to future, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous.
Simple Present and Present Progressive can also be used for the future. Simple Present is usually used for schedules in the future and Present Progressive is used for arrangements in the future.
Future simple is used to make predictions without evidence, whereas going to future is used for predictions with evidence. Future perfect is used for a finished action in the future. Future continuous (just like other continuous tenses) expresses an ongoing action in the future. Future perfect continuous is used for expressing how long an action will have continued at a point in the future.
