The future tense is perhaps my favorite tense because I find it to be the most useful. While we do often find ourselves talking about our past and present interest upon meeting someone, we quickly tend to progress to talking about what are plans are for the future and what we would like to do. I also find that teaching the future tense is easier after teaching the present tense because of the "going to" future tense which is prevalent in many other languages
