This unit gave good insight into the types of aids that a teacher can use and the pros and cons of each one. I think an important point to consider as well is what the school or company can provide to the teachers and what they prefer you to use, based on what they advertise to their students and parents. I believe that teaching aids are very important, and are like the spices to a lesson in that they perk a student's interest and help to engage.
