This unit was very useful and enlightening. It was enlightening in how it provided useful historical information in the different theories that explain how people learn best or acquire a second language best. This helps to realize that in a multicultural setting ,one has to be very aware of the differences in culture, personalities, and ways to perceive the world and information in order to choose the correct learning method and adjust it to each individual.This lesson was very useul since it provided the tools that will allow to prepare a stuctured lesson plan by applying the ESA methodology that provides direction. Also, the unit provides a variety of techniques that can be adapted to the individual needs and provide for a multiple intelligence setting, where every student in the class learns a different way.
