I have learned the 4 different forms of the past tense in English. I learned examples, usages, and teaching ideas for the past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. I also learned all the irregular verbs for the past tense which require memorization because they do not follow any specific rules. I learned how to put each past tense form into affirmative, negative, and into a question. This unit was fairly easy to learn compared to the present tense and I hope to use these teaching ideas to help teach the past tense.
