Although a lot of this chapter felt like a review, there was still a lot of things that were new to me and that I learned. For example learning about articles was a rather new topic as opposed to a refreshment. I think because English comes so naturally to us native speakers at times we do not stop and realize exactly what we are saying or how we are using different parts of speech. I found it pretty amazing that for the definite use of articles one uses "the" and for the indefinite version one uses "a and an". I learned definite articles are used to either refer to any member of a group or to a specific member of a group. As opposed to indefinite articles which are used to refer to any member of a group. Overall I learned that as teachers, especially to those that are not natives to english it is important that we are teaching the correct part so speech.
