Different type of test are extremely important. As a teacher it is crucial that you know which type of test is appropriate to give, although I feel that you wont just be allowed to choose what test to give to give to a student. I think that the test are important for a variety of different reason. You always want to be able to measure the level that a student is at before the lessons begin and to see if they are retaining all of the material.
