We use stress to emphasis a word there are some rules that can help with figuring out what needs to be stressed and what shouldn't be, the unit talks about sound joining too and divides them into 4 elements. Phonemic alphabet and phonemic symbols are also very important and help in the pronunciation of words. articulation depends on the complex human anatomy and many factors participate in the act of articulation: the tongue, the larynx,the glottis...etc. Therefor the manner of articulation depends on the difference between sounds either plosive, fricative, nasal, lateral....
