In this unit, I saw two different examples of teaching lessons. There were vary obvious differences between the two in the teacher's attitude, the engagement of the students, and the overall successfulness of the class. In the second lesson, the teacher spent time building rapport and learning the students names to be friendly and show interest. While in the first lesson the teacher jumps into teaching without music instruction. Right away you can tell that in the first lesson the students are confused and intimidated, while in the second lesson they are open and engaged to learning.
