Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

This unit explains the different EFL methodologies, how it works by principle, what are the downsides and how effective each type is and how to switch them from one to another for different situations. One method really stands out from the rest which is fit for new and beginner teachers - the ESA approach. Engage, Study and Activate. Each stage is explained but doesn't follow a strict pattern, order or rule, it is flexible yet some important elements should always be there. As long as you engage the students in the start and finish it with some activation. There are several examples of fun tests, games and activities that covered different study areas in Elicitation, pronunciation, spelling, meaning, word order and analysis. The unit also explains different methods that work with lower and higher levels giving us new teachers new ideas on how would they prepare their lesson. It is also interesting to know that as teachers, there are different correction techniques giving the students leeway and allowing them to reflect on their mistakes, errors and how to be creative in solving them on their own. The different techniques also emphasized the benefits of making a "student-centered" activity more of a priority rather than the teacher correcting it for the students. It's all about encouraging them and being positive on the approach. It also mentioned the importance of explaining the activity, giving demonstrations and examples, making sure they understand the instructions before starting the activity. The activities also need to be clear to the students that they are tackling a certain goal or language point. Involving students for active participation, pairing them, arranging them in groups allows them more interaction with each other, making learning for them a fun and effective experience.
