In this unit I learnt different techniques which can be effectively used to teach English to the students. This unit considers "ESA" Engage-study-activate as the most effective method. I got to know a lot of ideas that can be used in each stage of this method. Most importantly, this unit emphasizes the difference between a mistake and an error. It also provides guidance to when and how to give feedback and correct error / mistakes, as it is very important for a teacher to correct the students without offending them.
