Generally, this particular units is about theories, methods, and techniques of teaching. This unit has taught me types of teaching methodologies like Grammar-Translation, Audio-Linqualism, presentation practice and Production(PPP), Task-Based Learning, Communicative Language Learning, Community Language Learning, The Silent Way and the Lexical Approach. I have also learned types of ESA lessons like Straight Arrow, Boomerang, and Patchwork. It also talks about how you could correct students and give them feedback that could help them to improve their language. I would say this particular unit has been helpful because I did not know types of teaching methodologies but after going through it has really help me to have insight. The ESA lesson types are really good and will help me improve my teaching.
