As previously mentioned, I believe that it is very important to focus not only on written and oral communication, but receptive and productive as well. when grouping productive communication forms together, a more concrete understanding of how to express oneself can be achieved. This lesson also helped me to better understand that accuracy and fluency do not pertain to just oral communication but can be measured in written communication as well. Although I believe that accuracy and fluency are equally important, I appreciate the creativity and ability to forge new relationships between concepts that fluency allows.
