This unit shows the number of ways to assess students language level.The first is by using tutorials,second is evaluation by the students and the third is through tests.Within test,there are different kind of tests which can be used to assess the students understanding of the language from the day he or she begins school to the time he or she will be ready to take the external exams.Throught this course,i’ve learn’t the various tests use by schools to monitor students performance.Some include,placement tests,progress tests,diagnostic tests,practice tests and the various external exams such as TOEFL,IELTS,TOEIC,Cambridge Assessment,Business English and trinity ESOL course for non- native speakers of English language who are 16 years and above.
