This unit provides information about lesson planning. Firstly, authors explain the reasons for planning a lesson and its advantages. Recommendations also include many details like checking that the equipment works. A plan may be either extremely specified, including themes like anticipated problems and timing, or only show the main structure of the lesson with some notes. Moreover, authors call attention to the idea of monitoring own lessons in order to develop. So as to plan not only one lesson but a sequence of lessons, the teacher should remember of its flexibility of plans, goals for the students, revision of lesson content, variety and balance of different activities. Finally, the unit presents some questionnaires, experiences etc. that may be really useful during the lesson planning and the lesson itself. To my opinion, the lesson planning is described completely, so there is almost nothing to add. The ESA model looks very effective.
