I learned so much from this lesson. I believe that my biggest takeaway is that a good teacher not only loves to teach and see students learn, but is also learner himself and can adapt his style to one that best meets his student's needs at any given time. Another important lesson, was that there are more language levels than I initially thought there would be and that the differences between them can be quite subtle. Finally, I believe it is vital that the teacher gives ongoing feedback and encouragement to all students whenever they make an effort. Learning a foreign language is not easy and everyone needs support, encouragement, and recognition when they make the effort to learn something new.
