This unit covered the different types of past tenses which include past simple, past progressive, past perfect, and past perfect progressive. The formatting for most of these forms are similar to the present tense which tells me it will be crucial having students understand the present tenses since will will make past tenses seem a lot more simple even with the additive of some irregular verbs that change forms. Through this unit, I have learned simpler ways to explain the past tenses to student's that will not confuse them and hopefully aide them in better understanding the language.
